Weft Extensions

Weaves is my most requested Hair extensions method due to the instant thickness, fast maintenance appointments and their discreetness. I offer five different weave techniques which depend on your hair type.

PROS =

  • Super discreet even when tying your hair up.

  • Can be used to achieve both a natural look or very thick full finish.

  • Reusable hair

CONS =

  • Thick hair extensions can take a lot longer to dry.

  • If not installed correctly can feel bulky

  • Very thick extensions may cause itching or scalp irritation.

  • Very thick extensions may be visible when your hair is tied up..

Bonded/Individual Extensions

Individual Hair Extensions are my second most popular method due to their lightweight and flexibility. These types of hair extensions are great for those clients was a more natural finish.

PROS =

  • Super lightweight and flexible.

  • Great for adding thickness

  • Reusable hair

CONS =

  • You can not achieve a very full, thick look if your natural hair is fine-average.

  • If you have thin/fine sides then the rings may be visible when your hair is tied up.

  • If your natural hair is weak then the rings may cause tension.

  • If not enough grams are fitted then the individual extensions can appear ''stringy''

Tape Extensions

Tape extensions are the marmite of the Hair Extension world. You either love them or hate them. My clients who wear them will state that they are the flattest, most discreet method, however the maintenance on them is twice as long, more expensive and more frequent than the other methods.

PROS =

  • Very discreet

  • Super flat

  • No metal rings

  • Reusable hair

CONS =

  • Longer Maintenance as you need removal, your natural hair washed and dried then a refit.

  • Maintenance is due around 6weeks in comparison to other methods which are 8 weeks.

Mixed Method Extensions

Hybrid Hair Extensions are the future. If you have read all of the above then you will now understand that different methods have different benefits and downfalls. So why not combined two methods. There are no rules when it comes to this however our two most popular is Weft and Indivuals (like the picture on the right) and also Weft and Tapes duo.
